TRACK DOGS are back !

Saturday 10th May 2025 at 8.00pm

A much called-for return of TRACK DOGS after a sell-out performance here in April 2024! Amidst an array of talented musicians who have performed for us, TRACK DOGS were a stand-out success. Newcomers to their music, who first heard them in their performance here, were thrilled and delighted by the talent and skills on show. No matter that most of the songs were unfamiliar, Garrett Wall on Acoustic Guitar, Dave Mooney on Bass guitar, virtuoso trumpeter Howard Brown and Robbie K. Jones on Cajon and Banjo delivered a stunning performance with a mixture of driving rhythms and subtle ballads, not to mention their unique one-microphone A-Capella songs! Do we need to say more? Except, to recommend that you get your tickets early, it's bound to sell out!

DAPHNE'S FLIGHT in concert

Saturday 24th May 2025 at 8.00pm

Daphne’s Flight was created 25 years ago by five of the leading singer songwriters of their generation - Chris While, Julie Matthews, Melanie Harrold, Helen Watson and Christine Collister. Daphne’s Flight are unrivalled and sit firmly in a class of their own as singers, musicians and writers. After a 21 year hiatus, they reunited in 2017 with a brand new album, ‘Knows Time, Knows Change’ and toured the UK and Europe to much critical and audience acclaim. A Live album and second tour followed in 2018 with festival appearances in 2019, including Cambridge, Shrewsbury and Cropredy which they stormed, gathering them even more devoted followers. For personal reasons Christine Collister is unable to join for current performances, but Julie, Chris, Helen and Mel introduced the talented Miranda Sykes on vocals and double bass, adding yet another exciting new element to the band. Join them on what promises to be an unmissable return flight to the stage.

Brooks Williams & Vera Van Heeringen

8.00pm on Saturday 13th September 2025

Vera van Heeringen and Brooks Williams present ‘Song Roots’ a night of songs, stories, vocal harmonies, guitar and mandolin. Audiences will be treated to duets as well as solos by two masters of roots music song-writing. Vera van Heeringen, originally from The Netherlands, is an accomplished and highly acclaimed multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. She was part of the brilliantly comedic New Rope String Band for five years and has toured with several Cajun and Old time greats such as Dirk Powell and Sheryl Cormier. In recent years Vera has been performing with her own trio and has just released her third album ‘Won’t be Broken’ which has been described by the press as her best yet. Her emotionally astute song-writing is underpinned with an understated rich instrumental craft on guitar.

Brooks Williams, originally from the USA, is a guitarist singer-songwriter creating acoustic music from the confluence of country, blues and folk. Besides his solo concerts, he also tours and records with fiddler Aaron Catlow, who RnR named the ‘best live act of 2023’. Additionally, Williams has a long-standing duo with songwriter Boo Hewerdine called State Of The Union. Williams’ latest solo recording, ‘Diamond Days’ released in March 2024, is, according to Fatea, a “stunning collection from the chocolate-voiced guitar maestro.
